We are in the lovely village of Chipping. You can leave the car and walk everywhere from the door, shop and gallery, pubs, cafe, fell walks, bird watching In the Area of Outstanding natural beauty - The Forest of Bowland. Our home cooked breakfasts using local produce are cooked on our original Aga. Always great entertainment in the village hall or the pubs. Or Camp in the garden and come in for a great breakfast.  |

Also within easy reach are Shopping trips to Clitheroe, Preston, Blackburn and Lancaster. Only 40 minute journey to the Lancashire coast of St Annes and Blackpool. 1 hour to the South Lakes. All this if the Beautiful Trough Of Bowland does not offer enough. Within the village there is a gliding club, Lancashire cycle routes, many walks, fishing, pony trekking, The Wild Boar Park. Of course there is also the wonderful local food that this area is famous for - Lancashire cheese, Uncle Bob's ice cream and plenty of pubs and resteraunts to enjoy them in. |
